Our Values
01
We Pray first
Prayer is communicating with God. Prayer has less to do with the eloquence of our words, and more to do with seeking God. Prayer moves God’s hand here on Earth, and it keeps us on His agenda for our lives. Through prayer, we see God move and we build our intimacy with Him, so we will be a prayerful people.
02
JESUS IS THE REASON
We only exist as a church because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. It is God’s ministry, we just get to be a part of it. Everything we do is rooted in the mission of Jesus and the truth of the Bible.
03
WE GROW TOGETHER
At Palm Church, we choose to grow together. We want to be firmly planted in the Lord. We never outgrow our dependence on Him, and we grow together. We bear each other’s burdens, and we do life together.
04
HEALTHY BELIEVERS MAKE AN IMPACT
We want to help believers be healthy spiritually. When believers are healthy, there is ALWAYS fruit in the right season. We are chasing after spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental health so we can impact this world for Jesus Christ.
05
We are serious about God, and the mission of the Gospel. We want to have fruitful believers, and part of that fruit is joy! There is joy and hope in Jesus, and there is a lot of spiritual value in fun. Following Jesus is anything but boring, and the church shouldn’t be either.
Experience
F. A. I. T. H.
These five words describe the kind of life we believe God invites us into.
Simple. Honest. Real. This is what we want people to experience at Palm.
01
Freedom
God frees us from the weight of our past and the pressure to pretend.
In Jesus, we are forgiven, made clean, and able to walk with God in a new way.
02
Authenticity
Freedom creates space for honesty.
When nothing is hidden between us, God, and it becomes easier to be real with others.
We want to be a community that actually lives out what we believe.
03
Intimacy
We weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone.
God wants to be known, and His presence brings connection and comfort.
At Palm, we want people to find real relationships and a sense of family.
04
Transformation
Following Jesus changes us.
Not overnight, not perfectly, but steadily.
God shapes our hearts, our habits, and our desires as we walk with Him.
05
Health
A life rooted in Jesus produces life.
God moves us from spiritual exhaustion to strength, wholeness, and maturity.
Healthy people build healthy churches, and healthy churches bless their city.
Our PLAN

Prayer
We will gather weekly to pray because we pray first and we pray often. We will also be sending out monthly prayer communication emails and posts about things to pray about. Wherever you are, no matter what city, state, or country you are in, we ask that you would pray with us.

Startup Parties
These startup parties are designed to help our team meet as many people in the community as
possible. We will pray, hear people’s stories, share the vision of Palm Church, answer questions, and
invite people to join our launch team.

Launch Team Gatherings
The launch team gatherings are designed to prepare the launch team practically, spiritually, and
culturally for the launch of our weekend services. We will focus on building the chemistry, capability,
and the culture of our launch team.
Our Beliefs
01
THE BIBLE
The Bible is God’s inspired Word, shaping our faith and guiding our daily lives. It is the ultimate source of truth, free from error. (Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
02
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal and co-eternal. (Genesis 1:26; Isaiah 9:6; Matt. 3:16-17 & 28:19; Luke 1:35; Hebrews 3:7-11; 1 John 5:7
03
Jesus
Jesus Christ is God the Son, fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life and willingly laid down his life to die for our sins. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return in power and glory. (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1, 14; John 20:28; Philippians 2:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 Timothy 3:16)
04
Salvation
God’s redemption plan for humanity is simple; Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Through His death and resurrection, He offers salvation, forgiveness, and redemption to all who believe. We are saved by grace alone, through faith in Him—this is a gift from God, not something we can earn. (Romans 10:9-10; Galatians 2:16 & 3:8; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Hebrews 9:22)
05
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit guides and empowers believers. He comforts, teaches, and strengthens Christians to live according to God’s will. The Holy Spirit also helps believers understand God’s Word and equips them to share His love with others. We believe that all believers have access to the Holy Spirit and receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit when they are spiritually born again. (John 1:12, 14:17, 14:23, & 15:4; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20)
06
HOLY LIVING
We believe that holy living is the evidence of a transformed life. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, believers are called to reflect Christ’s character in all they think, say, and do. (Galatians 5:22-23, Matthew 5:14-16, 1 Peter 1:13-17, Hebrews 12:14-15)
07
Baptism
After placing faith in Jesus Christ, every new believer is called to be baptized in water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38, 8:12, 36-38, & 10:47-48)
08
COMMUNION
Communion is a sacred practice where believers remember and appreciate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ through the breaking of bread and drinking from the “fruit of the vine” (wine or grape juice). The bread represents His body, broken for us, and the cup represents His blood, shed for the forgiveness of sins. It is a time of reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal, as believers are united in Christ and strengthened in their faith. (Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 10:16 & 11:23-25)
09
GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
God gives gifts for the building of His Church. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit referred to in the book of Acts and in the letters to the early churches (like Corinthians) can still be seen today. Spiritual gifts are distributed according to God’s will and enable believers to experience God’s supernatural power here on Earth. With that being said, Spiritual gifts equip the Body of Christ for ministry, and we believe that God has given guidance for the practice of Spiritual gifts within the church context and should be used in a God-honoring and orderly way. (1 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 13, 1 Corinthians 14, Galatians 5:22-26, Ephesians 4:11-16)
10
MARRIAGE
We believe God intends marriage to be a lasting & committed relationship between one man and one woman. This bond is also a reflection of the lasting, committed relationship between Jesus and His Church. (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:25, Mark 10:9, Matthew 19:4-6)
11
ACCOUNTABILITY
Palm Church believes that Biblical accountability for church leadership is essential because it aligns with Scripture’s guidance on leaders’ conduct and qualifications, as seen in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. It protects the church from misuse of power, fosters humility and spiritual growth in leaders, and ensures integrity (as emphasized in Hebrews 13:17 and James 3:1). Because of our commitment to accountability, Palm Church has partnered with the Wesleyan Church for financial and leadership accountability.
